The line “by selling sorrow, she can live a tomorrow” reminded me of a book called “Whichwood” and one of the main characters cleans body’s of the dead and preparing their souls for the afterlife for a living, but, the town sees her as an outcast so she doesn’t make much money. (Or that’s what I remember from the book at least, it’s been a while since I’ve read it!)

The best thing about Resleri is that the Producer is listening and getting QoL changes done in the first year and not just in 3-4 years time or waiting for when it's expected to discontinue just to try to desperately revive it late on in its life.

But still this game is one of the best from japan developer game. The rate gacha is not really bad but chinese dev make mess up and set new standard in gacha game. Yes some still need improve in this game but still this one of the best. Unlike bandai where they mobile game is worst than this

I don't know what you are talking about, the gem income way too low, played the first 2 weeks. Dropped during sophie banner release. Basically saved all f2p gems for nothing cause it was basically half a spark. There's a reason why this game is dying on revenue charts.

I'm playing the game on Steam deck, it's quite charming. It's a lot of fun seeing characters from past games in this new improved 3D artstyle. Ngl, the animations looks a lot better than most atelier consol games (that's just my opinion though). Hope the next consol Atelier game gets as much polish as this game.

Seriously, I'm surprised at the amount of negativity this game recieves. Resleriana is quite solid compared to many other gacha games released around the same time.

Couldnt agree more. I actually started playing this game with almost no prior atelier series experience and still stayed for the battle/synthesize systems.

Hard disagree. There is no such thing as a f2P friendly gacha game, otherwise it wouldn't survive even a month. The whole game is made for the sole purpose of making you spend money on characters and faster progression in a predatory manner. Also the story is not really free, because you still need stamina to grind for your team to progress. It's a cheap standard gacha game with an atelier skin slapped on it (and some nice fanservice to attract people) that gets boring after a few days. As a long time atelier fan it is just sad to see this being a new mainline game...

i am actually gaming it on switch bcause of the price reduce in the nintendo shop and bcause i was interested in the game a while .....years but it was almost too expensive or there was another game i wanted more instead but now i finally can call it my own and its cute good and the story is mysteryous and i like the more darker twist that came with yuki s hospital heartscape i was shocked a little bcause of the sugar sugar rainbow sunshine vibe the game had so more are some ( even if there were only words she said ) are darker bcause i begin to care about the girls i love them lol no serious i am excited where this is going to i never have seen the anime before or was playing the previous game but i am noisy what all that is about in the end but i dont wanna spoil myself if i knew the end it would destroy my motivation to enjoy it on the same level but so far its a solid good game not that good how final fantasy 13 Lightning returned was but its good

I've been interested in the atelier dusk trilogy games for a while and i was deciding which one to buy first and I've decided to start with atelier shallie first for the nintendo switch, then I'll get atelier ayesha and atelier escha & logy later on. I'm also thinking about getting the atelier mysterious trilogy games and the atelier arland trilogy games for the nintendo switch too. I also really love the art style of the dusk trilogy games too.

I’ve had this exact cover stuck in my head for YEARS, and I’m relistening to it again for the first time in a while. I’ve been depressed for the majority of my life so the song is kinda cathartic. While I agree the song is about people who use mental illness and depression as an aesthetic, to me it’s more like a “get your shit together” song. It sounds like the singer has been supporting their friend through their depression, but instead of wanting to make an effort to get better, they just wallow in their misery. The singer is telling their friend “I’ve done all I can to help you, but I can’t make the choice to be better for you. YOU have to choose to work on yourself, YOU have to want this too, because it’s YOUR life.” It’s kinda like the scene from Bojack where Todd yells at Bojack like “you are everything that is wrong with you.” He just lays into him about how yeah, he went through some shitty things, but Bojack consistently and knowingly makes bad choices and expects everyone to pity him for it.
